Redbud Writing Retreat (In The Woods)

Service Description

Join us for our previously sold-out Redbud Writing Project one-day generative writing retreat, hosted at the Work in Progress Art & Story Studios, a 10-acre forested property and rustic event space in Pittsboro. Arshia and Emily will kick off the day with a mix of prompts, lectures, brainstorming, and one-on-one meetings to kickstart your creativity and get you writing. In the afternoon, writers will have time to work on their projects by themselves, as well as the opportunity to walk around the grounds and gain inspiration and perspective from the peaceful surroundings. At the end of the day, weather permitting, we’ll have some pool time! This retreat is ideal for writers who are hoping to glean inspiration and make progress drafting either a work-in-progress or a new story.
